Project 2 - Woodland Winter - Completed (almost)

Hi there

I finished the quilting on this top today.  Silly me, I've done a 1/2 inch grid, not a 1 inch as intended - no wonder it took so long!

Here it is - the binding is only pinned to the back - I'll hand sew it over the next few days.

I now know the pattern is called "Warm Wishes"  - thanks to SandyQuilts

A closer look at the quilting

I'm quite pleased as the only pleat was a single teeny, tiny one in the last 1/2 inch square.  I somehow expected more shifting around of the sandwich.  It pays to pin!

  3. Thanks Sandy - yes it was you who pointed out the name of the pattern. No-one in my group has heard of Warm Wishes before.

Hi Jilly - I see you are in California! Yikes, a long way to travel, but you never know. Tassie is a wonderful place to holiday. :)
